CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - The two other University of Cincinnati officers who were involved with the investigation into the July 19 fatal shooting of Sam DuBose will not face charges.

Hamilton County Prosecutor Joe Deters announced the grand jury returned no charges against Phillip Kidd and David Lindenschmidt. The two UC officers were put on paid administrative leave on Thursday.

Kidd and Lindenschmidt arrived on the scene as former UC officer Ray Tensing reached into DuBose's car.

"These officers were totally cooperative in the investigation and consistent in their statements," said Deters. "When the officers were specifically asked about what they saw and heard, their statements matched Tensing's body cam video."

Deters went on to say that some confusion occurred in the initial incident report but the officers were truthful and honest about what happened in the fatal officer-involved shooting.
