Police: 15 vehicles burn at Walton salvage auto auction business

WALTON, Ky. (AP/FOX19) - Fifteen vehicles caught fire at a salvage auto auction business in this Kenton County community early Tuesday, police said.
Firefighters responded just before 4:30 a.m. to Copart Salvage Auto Auctions, 13273 Dixie Highway.
When they they arrived, they told dispatchers 12 vehicles were fully engulfed.
Kenton County police later said 15 vehicles in all burned.
The fires were extinguished, and crews cleared the scene by 6 a.m.
The cause remains under investigation. Police said the fires may have been spontaneous.
A damage estimate was not available; police said the vehicles are considered junk.
No one was hurt.
