BLANCHESTER, OH (FOX19) - Three people overdosed on heroin in the same block Saturday night, according to the Blanchester Police Department.
Police first responded to a car running off the road at around 7:45 p.m., at West Fancy and South Mill streets.
The driver, Raejean Polston, 28, and front seat passenger, Casey Polley, were found unresponsive in the vehicle with Polston's 2 year old child in the backseat, according to Blanchester Police Chief Scott Reinbolt.
Officials transported Polley, of Leesburg, to an area hospital.
Polston, of Hillsboro was arrested and transported to the Clinton County jail, where she was charged with child endangering. The child was handed over to Polston's sister, police said.
Blanchester police indicate that Polston and Polley obtained and consumed heroin inside a residence on West Fancy Street. They crashed less than a block from the home.
While officials were at the scene of the crash, an ambulance was called to the same residence on West Fancy Street for a heroin overdose, police said.
Officials found and transported Kristen Nicholson, 35, of Sabina, to an area hospital by ambulance.
Police responded to the West Fancy Street residence and obtained evidence that Nicholson used heroin inside the home prior to the ambulance call.
She was charged with possession of drug abuse instruments.
Police are looking for Matthew Hudnell, 34, who allegedly fled from the West Fancy Street residence prior to the ambulance arriving.
