MIDDLETOWN, OH (FOX19) - The man accused of killing a Middletown woman two years ago pleaded guilty to Aggravated Murder on Thursday.
Juwan Hawkins will face a 20-years to life sentence for the death of De' Asia Sims.
Sims' body was found on Dec. 14, 2014 near an entrance to the Bolton Water Works Plant off Lick Road. The next day, the coroner ruled her death a homicide.
Police issued an arrest warrant for Hawkins two weeks after Sims' death.
On top of the Aggravated Murder charge, an additional three years were added to Hawkins' sentence for a weapons charge. He will face a minimum of 23 years before eligible for parole.
