Family of Sam DuBose files wrongful death lawsuit against former UC police officer Ray Tensing

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - The family of Sam DuBose filed a wrongful death lawsuit in federal court Friday against former University of Cincinnati police officer Ray Tensing.
Tensing faces murder charges for the shooting last year that left Dubose dead that was captured on body cam.
According to court documents, the DuBose estate is seeking damages and court costs to be covered by Tensing himself.
Records stated, "As a further direct and proximate result of Samuel DuBose's wrongful death, Mr. DuBose's survivors, next of kin and/or heirs have suffered permanent damages, including but not limited to, grief, depression, and severe emotional distress. They have lost economic and emotional support, incurred funeral bills and other expenses and will incur additional expenses and losses in the future."
