DEERFIELD TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) - Construction on a new Socialville Foster Road overpass and nightly lane closures continue this week on Interstate 71.
Work crews will block both north and southbound lanes at Socialville Foster Road Monday through Friday nights.
The right lanes will close at 8 p.m. The center lane also will shut down at 11 p.m.
These closures will continue until 7 a.m. the following morning.
Crews hope to finish the work by 9 a.m. Saturday.
They will put out arrow boards and signs to alert motorists of the lane closures.
Drivers are asked to reduce speed and watch for stopped traffic.
They also are required by law to merge into lanes away from the construction if possible.
The current, two-lane Socialville Foster Road overpass is being transformed into one with four lanes and sidewalks.
On March 14, Socialville Foster Road will shut down for about 10 months as construction continues.
Motorists are advised to detour onto Mason-Montgomery Road to Western Row Road to Columbia Road.
