WARREN COUNTY, OH (FOX19) - The Warren County Engineer's Office will continue replacing the two-lane bridge on Socialville-Foster Road over Interstate 71, requiring more lane closures on I-71 this week.
The closures will begin on Sunday, March 27 through Friday, April 1, both north and southbound lanes of I-71. They will start with single lane closures at 8 p.m. and double lane closures starting at 11 p.m. with all lanes reopening by 7 a.m. the following morning.
In addition work crews will have full intermittent closures for up to 15-minute at a time of I-71 in both directions, between midnight and 5 a.m. each night. Allow yourself extra time for the closures.
Socialville-Foster Road was closed on March 14 and expected to be closed until approximately the end of October. The detour will be Mason Montgomery Road to Western Row Road to Columbia Road.
They will have arrow boards and signs in place to alert traffic of the lane closures. Motorists are asked to reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic when passing the construction zone.
It is also a law that approaching traffic merge into lanes away from the construction if possible.
