COVINGTON, KY (FOX19) - For the first time in 40 years, Frisch's Big Boy has been given a brand new look.
The first thing you might notice is that the Big Boy mascot looks a little slimmed down.
Big Boy also has hung up his classic checkered overalls and will no longer hoist the famous Big Boy Sandwich. The change reflects Frisch's expansive menu of premium sandwiches, dinners, breakfast, homemade soup and desserts.
"Frisch's Big Boy is beloved in all the markets we serve and our goal is to increase that sentiment by moving the brand forward," said Frisch's CEO, Jason Vaughn.
The rebranding is expansive and will touch every aspect of the customer experience from dishes, packing and restaurant décor.
The Covington, Ky location is the first to be remodeled.
