Taste of OTR: Spinach Artichoke Mac & Cheese Recipe

CINCINNATI (FOX19) - In preparation for the 4th Annual Taste of OTR to benefit Tender Mercies, FOX19 NOW hosted Washington Platform Saloon & Restaurant in the kitchen to make one dish they will have at the event. Taste is Friday and Saturday, Aug. 26 and 27, at Washington Park.

SPINACH & ARTICHOKE MAC & CHEESE

Yield - 2 servings

Ingredients

  • 6 oz. heavy cream
  • 1 oz. shredded cheddar
  • 1 oz. shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • ½ oz. shredded Romano cheese
  • ½ oz. crumbled Bleu cheese
  • Salt, pepper & garlic to taste
  • 5 oz. cooked macaroni
  • 2 oz. chopped artichoke hearts
  • 2 oz. cooked, chopped spinach
  1. In small saucepan, over medium heat, reduce heavy cream.
  2. Add cheeses and seasonings to create a rich mixed cheese mornay.
  3. Add cooked pasta, chopped artichoke and cooked spinach, heating through-out.
