Police look to question ex-boyfriend in NKY woman's death

TAYLOR MILL, KY (FOX19) - Taylor Mill Police are now partnering with the U.S. Marshals in an effort to locate the believed ex-boyfriend of the woman found dead inside her apartment Thursday.

Lamont Brandon Johnson, 40, was likely in contact with Trina Coleman on the day of her death and may be the last person to have seen her alive, according to police.

Police found Coleman, 34, deceased in her residence at the Lakeview Apartments in the 700 block of Sharon Drive at around 5 a.m. Her death has been ruled a homicide.

Investigators say they want to speak with Johnson to gain any information he may have about Coleman to further assist in determining a timeline of events. He's not been charged with any crime.

Johnson is described as a male black, 6'3" tall and weighs 325 pounds.

Police said Johnson does have an active felony warrant for first degree fleeing police stemming from an incident in August, when he is alleged to have led Covington Police on a high-speed chase.

Anyone who sees Johnson should call 911. Anyone with information on Johnson's location should contact Taylor Mill Police via Kenton County Emergency Communications Center by calling (859) 356-3191.
