SHARONVILLE, OH (FOX19) - Sharonville police have identified the man who died in a Sharonville car fire on Wednesday.

Police said the victim was 48-year-old Keith Nash of Sharonville.

Crews were dispatched to the fire outside an apartment complex in the 11000 block of Lebanon Road, at around 3 p.m.

The driver of the vehicle was pronounced dead, police said.

A woman who lives nearby told a witness tried to save the man from that burning car.

"You saw everything, you heard the popping of the car. It sounded like gunfire, like multiple times. I saw a gentleman trying to, like going into the car and tried to save him, and they weren't able to save him. It was just too bad... the fire was just engulfed," witness Terri Tate said.

The incident remains under investigation.

Anyone that may have information regarding the fire should contact Sharonville Police at 513-563-1147.
