Foster parents arrested on child porn charges

GREENDALE, IN (FOX19) - Foster parents face child porn charges as a result of a complaint to authorities from one of their foster children, Dearborn County prosecutors announced Thursday.

Kent Taylor, 63, and Robin Taylor, 48, of Greendale are held at the Dearborn County Jail following their indictments earlier this month for child pornography and neglect of dependent.

Kent Taylor faces an additional charge of child seduction.

According to court records, the alleged incidents occurred between Oct. 12, 2016 and Jan. 21, 2017.

One of the couple's foster children who is 16 or 17 told authorities Kent Taylor grabbed her buttocks three times and made several sexual comments about her body since she moved into their home.

She said Kent Taylor told her he would like to marry her if he was not older, no longer was in love with his wife and only stays around because she controls his social security checks, records state.

Authorities said they found several photos of child pornography on Kent Taylor's cell phone. Some of the images showed children engaged in sexual acts.

They also said they found evidence on his phone that he had searched websites with teenage and school girl porn.

One pornographic image was found on on Robin Taylor's cell phone, they said.
