CINCINNATI (FOX19) - FC Cincinnati's postponed U.S. Open Cup quarterfinal game against Miami FC has been rescheduled for next month.
The match will be played on Wednesday, Aug. 2 at Riccardo Silva Stadium at 7:30 p.m. The match will be streamed on ussoccer.com.
The two sides sat through a two-hour weather delay Wednesday. The match was officially postponed at 9:30 p.m. due to severe lightning and storms.
The winner of Cincinnati-Miami will host New York Red Bulls, Wed., Aug. 9 and will become the first lower-division team to reach an Open Cup semifinal since 2011 when the Richmond Kickers advanced to the semis.
