BOND HILL, OH (FOX19) - A 46-year-old man accused of raping his 63-year-old mother in early March has been sentenced to more than a decade in prison.

According to court documents, the incident happened on Lawn Avenue near Bond Hill. The records state the defendant initially argued with her over money. They said he, "dragged her around the home, punching her in the face and body."

He inflicted bruises and lacerations to her head, face and body, bite marks to her inner thighs and back. He then dragged her by her hair, causing it to be torn from her scalp. The documents say he forcibly raped her.

The victim tried to get away and ran to a neighbors house in the nude. She was dragged over a fence and back to a home, but was able to escape and call 911 when her son fell asleep, according to the documents.

FOX19 NOW is not naming the man so we do not identify the victim.

He pleaded guilty to rape, felonious assault, and kidnapping charges on Tuesday. He was sentenced to 11 years in prison.
