Northside man hurt in drive-by paintball shooting

NORTHSIDE, OH (FOX19) - A man was the target of a drive-by paintball shooting while walking to work last Wednesday night.

Jeremy Moore said he was struck multiple times and initially thought it was bullets.

"It was around 11 p.m.and I was walking to work at Urban Artifact when all of a sudden I felt something hit me in my upper back," said Moore.

It happened on Chase Avenue near Florida Avenue, not too far from where Moore lives.

He said the paintballs were fired with such force that his wounds drew a little blood.

"This is the first time anything bad has ever happened to me in the three years I have lived in Northside," said Moore.

Cincinnati Police said they have taken down multiple reports this summer of paintball shootings, but no one in this case has been arrested.

They urge anyone who is a victim or has information to call the police department.
