Norwood Father Convicted Of Killing Daughter Gets Life With No Parole

A man who at first pleaded that he was insane when he allegedly killed his daughter is going to jail and has very little chance of getting out before his sentence is complete.

A judge convicted Gordon Franklin of murder after he changed his plea of insanity to no contest. Franklin now faces 15 years to life in prison. The judge in the case told Franklin that he will have no chance at parole.

Investigators said that Franklin used a golf club to strike his 13 year old daughter Danielle in the head while she slept in their Norwood home.
