Woman Dead, Husband Injured In Apparent Fatal Dispute In Blue Ash

A woman who had previously been attacked was found dead Wednesday morning, the result of an apparent domestic violence dispute.

Twenty six-year-old Michelle Dieterle suffered multiple stab wounds and was found dead when police responded to a 911 call to her Fox Run apartment just off of Hunt Road in Blue Ash.  Ryan Dieterle, 27, was found with a stab wound to his neck and was taken to Bethesda North Hospital.  The result of an apparent domestic dispute.

Police say that Dieterle and her boyfriend were asleep when Ryan Dieterle arrived.  According to police, the Dieterles became involved in an argument.  Michelle Dieterle then told her boyfriend to leave and he called dispatch after leaving.

The mother of two had filed a protection order against her husband in May of this year as a result of an earlier domestic dispute.  He is currently charged with violating that order and burglary but has not been charged with the death of his estranged wife.

Dieterle, who was an employee of the Hamilton County Jobs and Family Services, was attacked in December as she was getting into her car in a parking lot across Central Avenue.

Police say that Tyrone Franklin attacked Dieterle at gunpoint, forced her to drive to an ATM to withdraw cash, and then raped her in an abandoned house before releasing her and taking her car.  Franklin was arrested in Georgia several days later.

He remains in the Hamilton County Justice Center on a 1.2 million dollar bond.
