Two teenagers were shot in Oakley and one of them is dead.

Police who were on the scene of the shooting just before 11 Wednesday night in the 3000 block of Robertson Avenue don't know how many shots were fired.

They have identified the victim as 18 year old Joseph Krehye. He was found in the 4200 block of Appleton Street dead from the gunshot wounds.

Police say that they are not sure if gunfire was exchanged between the teens or if just one person was responsible for firing the shots. According to police, the shots were fired in front of a house on Robertson.

A witness told police that a van fired the shots. Police followed the van to a BP station on Dana and Montgomery in Evanston and inside they found a 15 year old victim also suffering from gunshot wounds in his abdomen. His condition is unknown but was rushed into surgery at UC Hospital.

Three others in the van were taken into custody for questioning.

Police say that the house has been the site of several narcotics arrests in the past.
