Two local organizations -- are teaming up -- to help women in need... They're creating a home for victims of domestic violence. Lois Michelman Cohen and Felicia Zaken from the Jewish Federation of Cincinnati A multi-family home, donated by a group of philanthropists and named Freeda Kay III, was furnished and decorated on Tuesday by a group of women volunteers from the Jewish Federation of Cincinnati, in preparation for other women to move in. The renovation and transformation of the four-unit building will provide permanent supportive housing to women with a history of domestic violence and trauma who have made significant progress in their treatment with Talbert House. During the Moving Day, the Women's Philanthropy group unpacked, arranged furniture, and put the final finishing touches on the units for the families who will call Freeda Kay III home.
