Learn How to Meditate - TriHealth Meditation Series at Cincinnati Sports Club

Health experts agree that meditation is very important in reducing and managing stress, reducing both negative emotions and physical pain, and in enhancing the body's immune system, benefits that we can all use a lot more of right now. Cincinnati Sports Club is hosting the TriHealth Meditation Series, a beginners' introduction to the various meditation techniques in three, 30-45 minute sessions, which take place during January, February and March. Safe social distancing guidelines will be followed, and class size is limited. The three sessions, led by TriHealth Professionals, which are free and open to the community include: -Mindfulness Meditation, January 18th, 6pm Focuses on breathing and bringing awareness into the movement and is beneficial for stress management -Body Scan, February 15th, 6pm Focuses on bringing attention to the body to get to the roots of tension, stress and pain. Can help promote sleep. -Guided Imagery, March 15th, 6pm Focuses on intentional visualizations that can help shift perception and mood, as well as destressing and relaxation.
