This marinade can be used on almost anything. These are guidelines not rules. Base recipe 1/3 cup low sodium soy sauce 1/3 cup worcherstershire sauce 1/3 cup water 1/3 cup olive oil 1 Tablespoon Dried Parsley,Garlic Powder and Onion Powder. Here is where it gets FUN!! Root around your cupboard and fridge and just use what you have!! 1/3 cup lemon or lime or orange or pineapple juice 1 teaspoon of either black pepper, white pepper or red pepper flakes. 2 Tablespoons of either, white sugar, brown sugar, honey or maple syrup. 3 Tablespoons of WHATEVER fresh or fried herbs you have (they can be ones you forgot about, just use them) basil, thyme, rosemary, dill, Italian seasoning blend, mirepoix blend…or mix and match if you do not have enough of one. Mix it all in a zip top bag and then put in beef, chicken or pork and let marinade up to 10 hours. If using on seafood brush to coat and let sit for 30 minutes. Dry off meat or seafood before grilling with paper towels-very important!! Grill on your outdoor grill or on your grill pan like we are today.
