People Working Cooperatively is a nonprofit that provides critical home repairs, energy conservation and accessibility modification services to low-income residents.
Repair Affair is a large annual volunteer event taking place throughout the month of June.
Saturday, June 10 is the big participation date, but Repair Affair groups can choose to participate on any date in June that works best for them.
Projects include things like:
o Repairing decks, steps and walkways;
o Installing handrails;
o Painting houses or decks;
o Landscaping;
o And more.
Repair Affair volunteers help to improve the safety and quality of life for PWC's clients.
All skill and experience levels are welcome to participate
Last year, 450 volunteers serviced 50 homes throughout the Tri-State area.

Repair Affair helps low-income neighbors with home maintenance and modification projects like repairing decks, steps and walkways; installing handrails; painting; landscaping and more. Last year, more than 450 volunteers donated nearly 1,900 hours to complete projects at 50 households across the region.
