A touchdown for mom: Williamsburg senior star finds hope after loss

The freshman football player is on the road to recovery after he was hit by a vehicle early Wednesday.

Six hours before both teams’ 7 p.m. kickoff, each high school’s athletic department was able to secure substitute bus drivers to transport players to the games.
