Northern Kentucky man may be paralyzed after attack with baseball bat
CINCINNATI (WXIX) - A Northern Kentucky man could be paralyzed after a man allegedly attacked him with a baseball bat.
Chris Cummins, 55, is being held at the Kenton County Detention Center on a $100,000 bond. According to court documents, Cummins is accused of attacking the man at his Park Avenue home in Elsmere on Tuesday.
According to a report from the Elsmere Police Department, the victim was taken to UC Medical Center. Doctors at the hospital said the victim may be a quadriplegic after the assault and could suffer permanent brain damage.
Cummins is charged with first-degree assault.
