COVINGTON, Ky. (WXIX) - A historic firehouse in Covington is showing its stripes, and just in time for football season.

Located inside a late-19th-century firehouse connected to Covington Yard is the Jungle, a Bengals-themed pop-up bar made for Who Dey Nation and football fanatics.

The Jungle, created by Covington Yard’s Tori Meeker, is one of many locations for Bengals fans to gather for tailgating, gamedays and post-game hangouts.

In addition to serving up Bengals-themed cocktails, the Jungle will also host other events, such as an NFL Comedy Roast Night and a Jungle Market.

Here is what the schedule looks like for September:

  • Sept. 2: Sports Betting 101 with Mo Egger
  • Sept. 3: Comedy Night NFL Roast with Andrew Rudrick and friends
  • Sept. 4: Thursday Night Football with Tony Pike and Mo Egger
  • Sept. 5: Jungle Days
  • Sept. 6: Jungle Market with What Are You Wearing Tailgate
  • Sept. 7: Ultimate Bengals Tailgate with Bud Light

The Bengals’ first game is against the Cleveland Browns at Huntington Bank Field Sunday, Sept. 7 at 1 p.m.

Fans can watch it live on FOX19 NOW.
