Tyson Sintas

Tyson graduated from Metropolitan State University of Denver in Spring 2025. He grew up in his home state of New Mexico, but always loved the beautiful mountain scenery of the Rocky Mountains in Colorado. After graduating, he knew he wanted to make Colorado his new home. So, he packed up his bags and moved to Colorado Springs to work at KKTV. Tyson loves to call 'Olympic City USA' his new home and connect with his new community.

At MSU Denver, Tyson was the News Director for the student-run news organization, Met Media. There, he found his love for broadcast journalism while studying video production as well, but really got more into digital news when he was News Director. Tyson found his place in journalism not just as a reporter, but as a producer, organizing newscasts as well as producing his very own late-night show. Sharing his stories and content across social media helped Tyson find his passion and work his way to KKTV.
